Olbermann’s Out

January 22, 2011 § Leave a comment

Kieth Olbermann is out at MSNBC as of Friday, for what seems like the second time in a couple of months.  I tried to watch Olbermann’s program a few times, and I definitely wasn’t a fan; the only thing worse than Olbermann is that angry guy Rachel Maddow.

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody that Olbermann couldn’t hack for long after Bush left office.  When I’d periodically stop on MSNBC during his show, Keith was always talking about Bush or his administration, even years after there was no Bush administration.  As Salon points out, Olbermann’s success started when he let loose on the Bush administration, and I’d say that he sustained himself on that same anger, and his show died a quick death when his muse faded to history.

No big loss.
